  • To serve our community helping others help themselves to thrive.

​Who are the people affected by your actions?

  • 1st off, each other (co-workers). Everyone we encounter who need our guidance.

​Why do we need to work together?

  • When we work together things run smoothly, we deliver better & efficient service and deliver services with success.

What synergy is created by working together?

  • A positive atmosphere develops among us and blossoms out to our clients and the world.
  • Allows for creative solutions to complex problems.

Evaluation Comments

What were the strengths of the course? What did you value most?

  • The opportunity to provide compliments to coworkers
  • Learning more about our co-workers
  • Learning more about one another on a personal level
  • Class participation
  • Instructor allowed sufficient time for participant discussion
  • Allowing people to communicate as adults
  • Not all didactic – plenty of room for personal interaction
  • You have to put out what you want in every situation
  • Insightful, good flow, valued group activities
  • The strengths were encouraging positive team communication – I valued compliments to others
  • Joe encouraged group participation in a safe, inclusive manner. Non-judgemental, allowed non-participation as the student was comfortable

  • Ensure that in the partner/group activities that people are encouraged to interact with multiple partners/groups (i.e. not always the person sitting next to you)

  • To remember and appreciate my co-workers
