Evaluation

What were the strengths of the course? What did you value most?

  • Instructor was awesome.
  • The activities that brought us all together.
  • The companionship.
  • Learning to leave our "comfort zone" and be comfortable being positive, supportive and uplifting. 9 strangers "now friends" smiley.
  • The instructor kept us motivated. I valued how it got me to open up.
  • The welcoming atmosphere to promote participation.
  • The instructor presented honestly and from the heart. I learned that customer focus also includes me.
  • How to be positive with coworkers & customers. Work hard and at the same time be happy.

How could this course be improved?

  • I think it was perfect. Don't see any spot needed for improvement.
  • Hard to say, the course was awesome.
  • Would love for all staff to get a chance to be part of this.
  • Could be longer time frame.
  • In no way could it be improved other than if there were donuts.
  • No change.

How will you apply what you learned?

  • Change perception of customer service.
  • I will use what I learned to boost moral in my unit.
  • In my everyday duties.
  • Through beginning with me. We have input on how our day will go. Remembering that we choose our attitudes and are all in service to one another.
  • Re-energized me on customer service and focused more on the internal customers.
  • I certainly will apply what I learned both at work and at home.
  • Everyday at work, at home, with family.

Participants: Victor, Fidel, Tyler, Rebecca, Robina, Carrie, Rochelle, Marie, Joe.

Stanislaus CountyInstructor's note: We turned our lunchtime into a customer service field trip at the lovely La Perla Tapatia. Our focus was on internal customer service and upon our return we discovered that we hit on all 15 aspects of "what would make an awesome day at work". A very successful field trip it was!
